When a potential guest is interested in your villa, he has the choices :


1) Book now, by making a booking request


2) Contact you, by making an inquiry 

 

 

1) Once he makes a booking request, you will receive a pending booking message in your Cretico account, as well as a notification message  in your email and your mobile phone, in case you are not logged in. There will be also an alert message in your account that will remind you that the pending booking will expire if you don’t accept it within 24 hours.  In order to accept or decline the pending booking you can either click on the "Accept/Decline" button in your e-mail message or log in Cretico. When you are logged in, go to “Messages” on the upper-right hand side of the screen and open the “Booking Pending” message.

 

When you open it, you may contact with your potential guest by sending him a message in case you want to ask something or you may go to “Accept Or Decline” directly. The “Reservation Details page” opens and you can see all the details regarding the reservation, the payout and the villa’s cancellation policy. Then you “Accept” or “Decline” the request after you have written a message in the field and you have agreed to the Terms of Cretico.

 

Don’t forget that if you don’t accept the booking request within 24 hours, it will be automatically-declined.

 

2) Once your potential guest makes an inquiry, you will receive a message in your Cretico account, as well as a notification in your email and your mobile phone, in case you are not logged in. In order to pre-approve, decline or just answer click on “Pre-approve/Decline” or “Answer” in your e-mail message or log in Cretico. When you are logged in, go to “Messages” on the upper-right hand side of the screen and open the “Inquiry” message.

 

When you open it, you may answer or ask something your potential guest by sending him a message or you may go to “Pre-approve or Decline”. The “Book it” tab opens and you are able to “Send Message and Approve”. You may also use the automated message of pre-approval, bu checking the little box above the text field. You are also able to pre- approve by making a “Special Offer”. You can set a price of your choice or the price you have been asked for. Then write a message to your guest and click on “Send Message”


When you pre-approve an inquiry, you allow your potential guest  to make a confirmed booking which will be automatically accepted. The reservation dates will not be blocked in your calendar, until the booking is confirmed. If you want this guest to book your villa, pre-approve his inquiry as quickly as you can, as it is possible that he has sent inquiries to other hosts too. 


If you want to decline the inquiry, click on “Decline the guest to stay at the villa” on the same tab. You have also the ability to use the automated message of non-availability by checking the little box above the text field.

 

 

You can remove your pre-approval by going to “Messages”, open the “Pre-approved “ message and click on “Remove Pre-approval”. Then, the “Pre-approval” becomes an inquiry again.


You can see your reservations history by going to "Reservations" and from the drop down menu choose the status of the message you want to see. You can view the details or cancel an accepted reservation, or just send a message to your guest. You can also send a message to a user whose booking request is declined by you  or send a message for Cancellation Pending.
